In July 1996, under the name "EMES Shipping and Transport S.A.," Arkas Line embarked on a transformative journey in container transport. As of January 1st, 2010, the company rebranded to Arkas Container Transport S.A., now globally recognized as Arkas Line. Arkas Line commands a formidable container fleet of approximately 126,500 TEU, featuring diverse container types utilized in regular services linking ports across the Mediterranean, West Africa, and the Black Sea. Boasting a fleet of 50 container vessels, Arkas holds the 20th position in global container fleet ownership, a testament to its prominence on the world stage.
